Production Notes: This costume contains completely no prefabricated pieces, other than the contacts in my eyes because I'm not a super-scientist eye doctor.

The coat is a blue cotton moleskin, reinforced with fabric iron-on interfacing to help keep its shape around the collar. The gravity defying nature of the high collar comes from wire inserts hand sewn in, two solid pieces (one on each side) starting from collar tip to waist.

The decorations on the coat are hand drawn patterns cut from a stretch vinyl, attached using an iron-on adhesive to keep from having any seams showing. They were drawn over the actual patterns of the coat, then mirrored to keep continuity, including a fold-out snow-flake on the back.

The coat's lined with a silk solid all the way through the sleeves. The cuffs are also of a similar silk solid, adorn with the same vinyl decoration using the same method.

The pants a dark blue moleskin of the same type as the jacket, with hand made piping along the waist rim comprised of a thick leather, top stitched into place.

The belts are actually one piece of fabric folded over and top stitched down, and given the appropriate buckles at a three way split cut into the end, to give the appearance of 3 belts while they still move together as one unit.

The "parasails" at the waist are made from a wire frame, lined with a "parachute" of blue silk and pinned to be held in placed.

The snowflake jewelry throughout the body is fishing line with a series of gold beads and hand made snowflakes cut out of styrene and given a glazed finish with a glitter solution.

The ears are comprised of model magic, shaped and painted with acryllics, adhesed onto the netting of the wing.

I can't believe I left this at Anime Expo, I'm so thankful to the Hilton of Long Beach for mailing it back to me in perfect condition free of charge.
